Vincent Bourdin's illustrous culinary career includes various experiences at highly-rated hotels, restaurants and pastry shops in Europe, including the world-famous Pierre Hermé, just before joining Valrhona's pastry consultant team in 1992.
After travelling all over Europe and the Middle East, Chef Vincent reached Singapore's shore in 1996 to open the Valrhona Regional Representative Office for Asia Pacific. He has established a reputation in the chefs-network through numerous hotel promotions and pastry events. He actively encourages the promotion and understanding of artisan chocolate and French gastronomy through various high profile gastronomic events, such as the Food & Culture Series held at the National Museum of Singapore.
Chef Vincent is the co-founder of the Asian Pastry Cup Board (the official Asian selection platform for the World Pastry Cup).
In 2008, the French government officially recognised Chef Vincent's passion and defence of the gastronomy by knighting him with the national order of Merite Agricole.
